Gastrotheca piperata Duellman and Köhler, 2005, J. Herpetol., 39: 92. Holotype: ZFMK 66838, by original designation. Type locality: "Sehuencas (17° 29′ S, 65° 17′ W, 2150 m a.s.l.), Provincia Carrasco, Departamento de Cochabamba, Bolivia".
