Stefania woodleyi Rivero, 1968 "1966", Caribb. J. Sci., 6: 147. Holotype: BMNH 1967.654 (formerly OUM 3056), according to MacCulloch and Lathrop, 2006, Cat. Am. Amph. Rept., 829: 1. Type locality: " a rocky stream, slope Mt. Kanaima, nr. Potaro R., Brit. Guiana [= Guyana]".

Distribution

Eastern portion of the Pakaraima Mountain region, Guyana, at elevations of 100-900 m.

Comment

In the Stefania evansi group. MacCulloch and Lathrop, 2002, Herpetologica, 58: 341, discussed the species. MacCulloch, Lathrop, and Khan, 2006, Phyllomedusa, 5: 31-41, reported on the specimens from the Mount Wokomung, Guyana. Reviewed by MacCulloch and Lathrop, 2006, Cat. Am. Amph. Rept., 829: 1-2. Kok and Kalamandeen, 2008, Intr. Taxon. Amph. Kaieteur Natl. Park: 156-157, provided an account. MacCulloch and Lathrop, 2009, R. Ontario Mus. Contrib.
