Comment

In the Hyla albopunctata group or Hyla geographica group, according to the original publication. Lescure and Marty, 2000, Collect. Patrimoines Nat., Paris, 45: 124-125, provided a brief account and photo. In the Hypsiboas albopunctatus group of Faivovich, Haddad, Garcia, Frost, Campbell, and Wheeler, 2005, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 294: 86. See account for Suriname population by Ouboter and Jairam, 2012, Amph. Suriname: 144-145, although the characters reported in this account render the specimens to be members of the Boana semilineata group and not the Boana albopunctata group according to Marinho, Costa-Campos, Pezzuti, Magalhães, and Dias-Souza, 2020, J. Nat. Hist., London, 54: 971–990, who rediagnosed and redescribed the species and also provided descriptions of larval morphology and vocal repertoire and discussed habitat and natural history.
