Distribution

Known only from the type locality in the Amazon Basin in southwestern Brazil (Acre); expected in nearby Brazil.

In the Hyla minuta group according to the original publication. De la Riva, Köhler, Lötters, and Reichle, 2000, Rev. Esp. Herpetol., 14: 57, and Köhler, 2000, Bonn. Zool.
