Type locality: "una quebrada adyacente al campamento de avanzada N° 2 y que corresponde a la formación vegetal Bosque siempreverde montano sobre mesetas de arenisca de la Cordillera del Cóndor (Ministerio del Ambiente, 2012), Cantón Nangaritza, Parroquia Nuevo Paraíso, Reserva Biológica Cerro Plateado, Zamora Chinchipe, Ecuador, 04° 36’ 15.9”, 78° 49’ 16.4” O, 2317 m".
