Myersiohyla chamaeleo Faivovich, McDiarmid, and Myers, 2013, Am. Mus. Novit., 3792: 8. Holotype: AMNH A-131173, by original designation. Type locality: "Venezuela: Departamento Amazonas: Cerro de la Neblina: Camp I, 1820–1880 m".
