Distribution
Known from two sites about 54 km apart along the terra firme forests of the right bank of the Rio Abacaxis, a black water river south of the Amazon that discharges into Paraná do Arariá, a white water channel delimiting the southern border of Ilha de Tupinambarana, Amazonas, Brazil.
