Hyla catharinae angrensis Lutz, 1973, Bol. Mus. Nac., Rio de Janeiro, N.S., Zool., 288: 1. Syntypes: MNRJ 2018 and 2512, by original designation. Type locality: "Angra dos Reis, in the southern part of the state of Rio de Janeiro . . . . Fazenda Japuíba", Brazil.

Distribution

Known only from the vicinity of the type locality (southern part of state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil).

Comment

Larval morphology described by Carvalho-e-Silva, Gomes, and Peixoto, 1995, Rev. Brasil. Biol., 55: 61–65. In the Scinax catharinae clade, Scinax catharinae group of Faivovich, Haddad, Garcia, Frost, Campbell, and Wheeler, 2005, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 294: 95. Garey, Costa, Lima, Toledo, and Hartmann, 2012, Acta Herpetol., Firenze, 7: 297-308, reported on the advertisement call.
