Scinax garibaldiae Lourenço, Lingnau, Haddad, and Faivovich, 2019, S. Am. J. Herpetol., 14: 164. Holotype: CFBH 40545, by original designation. Type locality: "Serra da Esperança farm (26°50′56″S, 50°39′12″W; 1,270 m a.s.l.), Municipality of Lebon Régis, State of Santa Catarina, Brazil".

Known only from the type locality (Serra da Esperança farm, 26°50′56″S, 50°39′12″W, Municipality of Lebon Régis) in a mountainous region of the state of Santa Catarina (1270 m elevation) in southern Brazil.
