Distribution

Brazilian coastal sandbanks and in forest areas near these environments, occurring from northern of Espírito Santo State to Sergipe State, Brazil. 

Comment

In the Scinax catharinae group and confused with Scinax agilis prior to its naming, according to the original publication. Abreu, Napoli, Trevisan, Camardelli, Dória, and Silva, 2015, Zootaxa, 3981: 430–436, reported on larval morphology. Dubeux, Silva, Nascimento, Gonçalves, and Mott, 2019, Rev.
