Type locality: "Ribeirão da Capivara, Chapadão da Babilônia (20° 36′ 03″ S, 46° 17′ 34.9″ W, elevation 987 m), Serra da Canastra, municipality of Capitólio, State of Minas, Gerais, Brazil".
