Known from elevations between about 700 and 1220 m on the western and southern Atherton Tablelands, Queensland, Australia.

Comparative morphology, advertisement call, and molecular markers detailed by Price, Hoskin, Mahony, and Donnellan, 2025, Zootaxa, 5584: 301–338, who placed this species in the Litoria revelata complex.
