Distribution
Semi-open forested lowlands and on plateau slopes of the Atlantic rain forest below 700 m a.s.l., from southern São Paulo to Santa Catarina states.
Comment
In the Scinax ruber clade and confused with Scinax alter prior to its naming according to the original publication, where a brief description of the advertisement call was provided.
