Distribution

High elevation temporary rock-bed rivulets and creeks in the quartzitic rock mountains in the Chapada dos Veadeiros region, northern region of the state of Goiás, central Brazil.

Comment

In the Scinax ruber clade according to the original publication (where the vocalization was described), most similar to Scinax cabralensis. Bang, Carvalho, Andrade, Haga, Bernardes, and Giaretta, 2017, Neotropical Biodiversity, 3: 117–124, reported on vocalization. Vaz-Silva, Maciel, Nomura, Morais, Guerra Batista, Santos, Andrade, Oliveira, Brandão, and Bastos, 2020, Guia Ident. Anf. Goiás e Dist. Fed. Brasil Central: 97, provided an account.
