Megophrys (Panophrys) shunhuangensis Wang, Deng, Liu, Wu, and Liu, 2019, Zootaxa, 4695: 308. Holotype: HNNU16SH02, by original designation. Type locality: "from a small stream at the edgeof a mountain outside Lizhu village (500m linear distance), Shunhuang Mountain (26.441990º N, 111.013876 ºE; 882 m a.s.l.), Xinning County, Hunan Province, China."
