Distribution

East of the Daly River system in the Northern Territory through to western Queensland, Australia.

S. Aust. Mus., 15: 713 had placed Hyla spaldingi into the synonymy of Hyla watjulumensis. Resurrected without discussion by Wells and Wellington, 1985, Aust. J. Herpetol., Suppl. Ser., 1: 5.
