Philautus pardus Meegaskumbura, Manamendra-Arachchi, Schneider, and Pethiyagoda, 2007, Zootaxa, 1397: 3. Holotype: BMNH 1947.2.7.96, by original designation (a syntype of Ixalus variabilis Günther, 1859. Type locality: "Sri Lanka" (imprecise locality).

Known only from the sole specimen from the imprecise type locality (Sri Lanka); considered extinct in the original publication.


Most similar to Philautus viridis and Philautus stuarti according to the original publication. Regarded as extinct by Batuwita, Udugampala, De Silva, Diao, and Edirisinghe, 2019, J. Anim.
