Breviceps bagginsi Minter, 2003, Afr. J. Herpetol., 52: 16. Holotype: TMP 70410, by original designation. Type locality: "17 km north-east of Melmoth, KwaZulu-Natal (28° 30′ 43″ S, 31° 14′ 52″ E, alt. 1200 m). The type locality is a grassy, roadside verge bordering a Eucalyptus plantation, at the intersection of a road running northwards from Nkandla and the main road between Melmoth and Babanango".

Distribution

Melmoth-Bananango and Boston districts of KwaZulu-Natal, Rep. South Africa, in primary forest at 900–1400 m elevation.
