Distribution

Known only from two localities in the Rakhine Division in southwestern mainland Myanmar, below 100 m elevation.

Comment

Tentatively placed in the Bufo melanostictus group in the original publication. Das, Chetia, Dutta, and Sengupta, 2013, Zootaxa, 3646: 336-348, provided comparative data with this species and other Duttaphrynus in the region. Zug, 2022, Smithson. Contrib. Zool., 653: 14–15, discussed identification, habitat, and range in Myanmar.
