Forests on the southern portion of the Espinhaço Range, in the municipalities of Conceição do Mato Dentro, Dom Joaquim, Alvorada de Minas, and Morro do Pilar, state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, at elevations of 608–1326 m

Comment

In the Aplastodiscus albosignatus group, the sister taxon of Aplastodiscus ibiratanga, but morphologically cryptic with Aplastodiscus cavicola from which it differs primarily in advertisement call and molecular markers; in addition adult and larval morphology were described in the original publication.
