Distribution

Known definitely from four municipalities in the Atlantic Rainforest of Bahia (Santa Terezinha, Elísio Medrado, Urucuca, Wenceslau Guimarães); calls of this species have also been heard in the municipalities of Almadina, Ilhéus, Igrapiúna and Camacan, also in Bahia, Brazil. 

Comment

Differs in call, molecular distinctiveness, and morphology from congeners, according to the original publication.
