Scinax montivagus Juncá, Napoli, Nunes, Mercês, and Abreu, 2015, Herpetologica, 71: 300. Holotype: UFBA 6753, by original designation. Type locality: "Mata do Campo Limpo, Parque Estadual das Sete Passagens, Municipality of Miguel Calmon (11°23′49″S, 40°31′37″W; 1040 m above sea level [asl]; datum 5 WGS84 for all coordinates), Bahia State, Brazil".

Serra do Espinhaço Range in the state of Bahia, Brazil, mainly inhabiting rock fields.

Comment

In the Scinax ruber clade according to the original publication.
