Distribution

Gran Chaco from Ñuflo de Chávez province, Santa Cruz department, Bolivia, south through western and central Paraguay to Chaco, La Rioja Province, Argentina.

Natural Resident: Argentina, Paraguay

Comment

In the Leptodactylus fuscus group, the sister taxon of Leptodactylus mystacinus, and previously confused with that species according to the original publication.
