Litoria electrica Ingram and Corben, 1990, Mem. Queensland Mus., 28: 476. Holotype: QM J38963, by original designation. Type locality: "25.1 km E of Cloncurry on Julia Creek-Cloncurry road, WCQ (20°43′S, 140°39′E)", Queensland, Australia.

From the base of the Gulf of Carpenteria south to rivers of the Lake Eyre Basin, western Queensland, Australia.
