Nyctimystes trachydermis Zweifel, 1983, Am. Mus. Novit., 2759: 12. Holotype: AMNH 82866, by original designation. Type locality: "at an elevation of about 1250 m. at Gapaia Creek, trail between Garaina and Saureli, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea".
