Nyctimystes traunae Menzies, 2014, Alytes, 30: 48. Holotype: UPNG 2058, by original designation. Type locality: "in reed beds on the bank of the Trauna River, Baiyer River Sanctuary, 800 m asl, WHP [= Western Highlands Province]", Papua New Guinea.

Distribution

Known from two localities, Baiyer River Sanctuary and Bundi, ca. 120 km apart on the central mountains of Papua New Guinea in Western Highlands Province.
