Arthroleptella atermina Turner and Channing, 2017, Afr. J. Herpetol., 66: 65. Holotype: SAIAB 141575, by original designation. Type locality: "Kanonberg, in the Riviersonderend Mountains near Greyton (34° 01′ S, 19° 36′ E, 799 m a.s.l.)", Western Cape Province, Rep. Distribution

Found in two genetically distinct populations: 1) on the eastern Riviersonderend Mountains from Die Galg eastwards; 2) a western population on the western extremity of the Riviersonderend Mountain range as far east as Jonaskop, in both case from the lower slopes to the summits, Western Cape Province, Rep. South Africa.
