Pseudoeurycea mystax Bogert, 1967, Am. Mus. Novit., 2314: 12. Holotype: AMNH 76363, by original designation. Type locality: "0.9 kilometer east-northeast of Ayutla, Oaxaca, in the Distrito de Villa Alta", Mexico.

Distribution

Known only from the type locality near Ayutla, 2100 m elevation, in pine-oak woodland, and 28 km to the northwest of the type locality at 8.6 km W Totontepec Villa de Morelos, all in Oaxaca, Mexico.
