Pseudoeurycea obesa Parra-Olea, García-París, Hanken, and Wake, 2005, Copeia, 2005: 467. Holotype: IBUNAM 14195, by original designation. Type locality: "Plan de Guadalupe, Oaxaca, Mexico (18° 08.386′ N, 96° 57.397′ W), 2150 m elevation".

Distribution

Known only from deforested remnant oak-cloud forest in the mountain pass of Plan de Guadalupe and its immediate surroundings, along the road from Teotitlán del Valle to Huautla, Oaxaca, 2150-2155 m elevation.
