Astylosternus diadematus Werner, 1898, Verh. Zool. Bot. Ges. Wien, 48: 200. Holotype: ZMB 13920 according to Amiet, 1985, in Frost (ed.), Amph. Species World: 21. Type locality: "Victoria [now Limbé], Kamerun".

Distribution

Western and southwestern Cameroon, and extreme eastern Nigeria, at elevations of 250-1100 m.
