Common Names

Perret's Night Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 37).

Distribution

Southern slopes of Mount Manenguba and on the Bamileke Plateau on Mount Bana and Mount Nlonako, 1140–1400 m elevation, Cameroon.

Comment

In the Astylosternus perreti group of Amiet, 1978 "1977", Ann. Fac. Sci. Cameroun, 23–24: 99-227. Herrmann, Böhme, Herrmann, Plath, Schmitz, and Solbach, 2005, Salamandra, 41: 61–81, reported the species from Nkebe Waterfall and Nguéngué, southwestern Cameroon.
