Leptodactylodon axillaris Amiet, 1971, Ann. Fac. Sci. Cameroun, 7–8: 164. Holotype: MHNG 2031.08 (formerly JLA 71.622) according to Amiet, 1985, in Frost (ed.), Amph. Species World: 22, and Schätti, Perret, and Mariaux, 2002, Cat. Comm. Types Amph. Rept. Mus. Hist. Nat. Geneve, Vers. 4.0 (Jan. 2002): 12. Type locality: "monts Bamboutos, env. 2.300 m", Cameroon.

Pale-sided Egg Frog (Channing and Rödel, 2019, Field Guide Frogs & Other Amph. Afr.: 250).

Distribution

Mount Bamboutos, 2300-2700 m elevation, and probably Mount Okou, in the Cameroon Range, Cameroon.

Natural Resident: Cameroon

Endemic: Cameroon
