Leptodactylodon bamilekianus Amiet, 1971, Ann. Fac. Sci. Cameroun, 7–8: 146. Holotype: JLA 70.929 (presumably now MHNG), by original designation. Type locality: "Batié", Cameroon. Synonymy by Amiet, 1981 "1980", Ann. Fac. Sci. Cameroun, 27: 105.

Distribution
Cameroon Range, in the submontane zone, western Cameroon, and adjacent southeastern Nigeria, 800–1450 m elevation.
