Telmatobius reverberii Cei, 1969, J. Herpetol., 3: 8. Holotype: IBAUNC 1980/1, by original designation. Type locality: "Laguna Minuelo, 3 km north of Laguna Raimunda, Meseta of Somuncura, Río Negro, Patagonia, Argentina (1400 m)".

Distribution
Known from five nearby lagoons on the Somuncura Plateau, Río Negro Province, Patagonia, Argentina, 1000-1200 m elevation, and ca. 130 km to the west in the Department of 25 to Mayo, Río Negro Province, Argentina.
