Distribution
Elevations of 20 to 510 m elevation in montane forest in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil: on Ilha de São Francisco do Sul (Serra da Palha and Fazenda Morro Grande), and in the Distrito do Saí (Centro de Estudos e Pesquisas Ambientais da Univille, Estrada do Saí, and Fazenda Palmito Juriti), all located in the municipality of São Francisco do Sul; also occurs at Braço do Norte and the Serra da Tiririca, municipality of Itapoá).
Comment
The advertisement call, external morphology, osteology, and mtDNA were discussed in the original publication. Bornschein, Ribeiro, Teixeira, and Pie, 2019, Check List, 15: 1031–1036, reported on the range, habitat, and altitudinal distribution and provided a dot map.
