Ischnocnema abdita Canedo and Pimenta, 2010, S. Am. J. Herpetol., 5: 200. Holotype: MNRJ 34908, by original designation. Type locality: "Estação Biológica Santa Lucia (19° 57′ 10″ S, 40° 31′ 30″ W; ca. 650 m altitude), Municipality of Santa Teresa, State of Espírito Santo, Brazil".

Distribution

Known from the municipalities of Santa Teresa, Cariacica, and Mimoso do Sul, all in the state of Espírito Santo, eastern Brazil.

Comment

In the Ischnocnema lactea species series and most similar to Ischnocnema bolbodactyla according to the original publication. Based on its phylogenetic position, placed in the Ischnocnema verrucosa species series of Canedo and Haddad, 2012, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 65: 619, this corroborated by Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 122, and Taucce, Canedo, Parreiras, Drummond, Nogueira-Costa, and Haddad, 2018, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 128: 123–146. Rocha, Lacerda, Magalhães, Canedo, Pimenta, Heitor, and Garcia, 2017, Acta Herpetol., Firenze, 12: 37–48, reported on vocalizations.
