Ischnocnema concolor Targino, Nogueira da Costa, and Carvalho-e-Silva, 2009, S. Am. J. Herpetol., 4: 141. Holotype: ZUFRJ 9556, by original designation. Type locality: "Itatiaia National Park, next to Brejo da Lapa (22°21′363″S, 44°44′055″W, approximately 2150 m elevation), State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil".

Forti, Haddad, Leite, Drummond, Assis, Crivellari, Mello, Garcia, Zornosa-Torres, and Toledo, 2019, PeerJ, 7(e7612): 1–39, reported on advertisement call.
