Ischnocnema karst Canedo, Targino, Leite, and Haddad, 2012, Herpetologica, 68: 394. Holotype: CFBH 25506, by original designation. Type locality: "Municipality of Arcos (45° 35′ 13″ W, 20° 19′ 34″ S, 755 m above sea level [a.s.l.]; datum 1/4 WGS84), state of Minas Gerais, Brazil".
