Eleutherodactylus paranaensis Langone and Segalla, 1996, Comun. Zool. Mus. Hist. Nat. Montevideo, 12: 2. Holotype: MHNCI 1773, by original designation. Type locality: "4 Km. W. Pico Paraná. Altitud aproximada: 1722 m.", Paraná, Brazil; type locality corrected to "Abrigo 1 (25°14’43”S, 48°49’40”W; based on the datum WGS84), Serra dos Órgãos (not to be confused with the homonym in the state of Rio de Janeiro), municipality of Antonina, State of Paraná, at 1615 m a.s.l." by Bornschein, Maurício, and Pie, 2015, Zootaxa, 3957: 249–250.
