Comment
In a cluster of species traditionally considered to be related to Ischnocnema juipoca according to the original publication (where external morphology, advertisement call, and natural history were described). In the Ischnocnema verrucosa species series of Canedo and Haddad, 2012, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 65: 619, and Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 122, and Taucce, Canedo, Parreiras, Drummond, Nogueira-Costa, and Haddad, 2018, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 128: 123–146. Bastos, Signorelli, Nomura, and Morais, 2015, Herpetol. Bull., London, 132: 22–24, provided the range extension to Goias, as well as notes on its vocalizations. Del Prette, Cândido, Felberg, Françoso, and Brandão, 2018, Herpetol. Notes, 11: 133–135, provided a new record for Minas Gerais, Brazil, and mapped the range. Assis, Guedes, Savignon, and Feio, 2018, Herpetol. Notes, 11: 561–563, provided a third locality in Minas Gerais, Brazil, compared the advertisement call to that of Ischnocnema juipoca. Vaz-Silva, Maciel, Nomura, Morais, Guerra Batista, Santos, Andrade, Oliveira, Brandão, and Bastos, 2020, Guia Ident. Anf. Goiás e Dist. Fed.
