Eleutherodactylus armstrongi Noble and Hassler, 1933, Am. Mus. Novit., 652: 2. Holotype: AMNH 44554, by original designation. Type locality: "'El Propio Esfuerzo,' coffee finca of Luis E. Del Monte, near Barahona, [Barahona Province] D.R. [=Dominican Republic] at an altitude of 1800 feet".
