Eleutherodactylus ligiae Incháustegui, Díaz, and Marte, 2015, Solenodon, 12: 137. Holotype: MNHNSD 1355, by original designation. Type locality: "La Charca, Aceitillar (18° 07.258 N, 71° 35.851 W), 1128 m de altitud, Sierra de Bahoruco, Provincia Pedernales, República Dominicana".
English Names
Baoruco Rockfrog (Hedges, Powell, Henderson, Hanson, and Murphy, 2019, Caribb. Herpetol., 67: 11).
Distribution
Known only from pine forest at the type locality (La Charca, Aceitillar, 1128 m elevation, Sierra de Bahoruco, Provincia Pedernales, Dominican Republic).
Geographics occurrence
Natural resident: Dominican Republic
Endemic to the political unit: Dominican Republic
Comment
Similar to Eleutherodactyls alcoae and Eleutherodactylus leoncei and provisionally associated with the Eleutherodactylus armstrongi group according to the original publication.
