Eleutherodactylus patriciae Schwartz, 1965 "1964", Caribb. J. Sci., 4: 474. Holotype: MCZ 43192, by original designation. Type locality: "9 km north-northeast Valle Nuevo (elevation unknown but in excess of 8000 feet, on the side of Alto Bandera), La Vega Province, República Dominicana".
