Eleutherodactylus (Euhyas) simulans Díaz and Fong-G., 2001, Solenodon, 1: 77. Holotype: MNHNCU 867, by original designation. Type locality: "Cuba, Arroyo Bueno [tributary of the Jaguani River], La Melba (20° 26´ 28 N, 74° 48´ 48 W), Parque Nacional Alejandro de Humboldt, Holguin Province".
