Distribution

Found from 2013 to 2995 m elevation, with the highest elevations corresponding to the summit of the Pico da Neblina, Brazil’s highest mountain, in the state of Amazonas; of the 33 specimens in the original series, only two were collected below 2600 m elevation, at Bacia do Gelo (2,013 m) and at Pepita camp (2,330 m).
