Balebreviceps hillmani Largen and Drewes, 1989, Tropical Zool., 2: 15. Holotype: LIV 1986.212.385, by original designation. Type locality: "12 km N of Katcha, Bale Mountains, Ethiopia (06°47′ N 39°46′E, altitude 3200 m)".
