Probreviceps durirostris Loader, Channing, Menegon, and Davenport, 2006, Zootaxa, 1237: 49. Holotype: BMNH 2005.1564, by original designation. Type locality: "Ikwamba Forest Reserve, Morogoro Region, Kilosa District, Ukaguru Mountains, Tanzania, 06° 21′ 31.5″ S; 36° 58′ 57.8″ E, 1500 m".

Common Names

Snouted Forest Frog (Channing and Rödel, 2019, Field Guide Frogs & Other Amph. Afr.: 124). 

Distribution

Ukaguru, Rubelo, Nguu, and Nguru Mountains, eastern Tanzania.

Natural Resident: Tanzania

Endemic: Tanzania

Comment

Most closely related to Probreviceps rungwensis (as Probreviceps macrodactylus rungwensis) according to the original publication. Harper, Measey, Patrick, Menegon, and Vonesh, 2010, Field Guide Amph.
