Anaxyrus monfontanus — Here (28 March 2020). Note from DRF. It is unclear to me what the authors are attempting to do with the original formulation of the name inasmuch to get this species into Bufo requires enormous taxonomic realignments in the New and Old Worlds. See comment under Bufonidae.

Distribution

Found within the marshes fed by thermal spring outflows in Hot Creek Canyon (1859 m elevation) in Hot Creek Range in Nye County, central Nevada, USA.
