Ansonia lumut Chan, Wood, Anuar, Muin, Quah, Sumarli, and Grismer, 2014, Zootaxa, 3764: 431. Holotype: ZRC 1.12503, by original designaiton. Distribution

Hill dipterocarp forest on Gunung Tebu (at 610 m elevation), Gunung Lawit (at 790–1280 m elevation), and Gunung Tebu (580–800 m) in the northeastern state of Terengganu, West Malaysia.

Comment

Confused with Ansonia malayana prior to its naming according to the original publication. Sumarli, Grismer, Anuar, Muin, and Quah, 2015, Check List, 11(4, Art. 1679): 7, reported a specimen from Mount Tebu, Terregganu, West Malaysia, and and reported on natural history and life history information.
