Ansonia tiomanica Hendrickson, 1966, Bull. Natl. Mus., Singapore, 34: 74. Holotype: BPBM (formerly J. R. Hendrickson 5129), by original designation. Type locality: "from a cave at an elevation of about 2,400 feet, Ulu Lalang, Pulau Tioman, Pahang, Malaya", Malaysia.

Common Names

Pulo Tioman Stream Toad (IUCN, 2022; Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 39).

Pulau Tioman Slender Toad (Grismer, 2012, Field Guide Amph. Rept. Seribuat Arch.: 42).

Distribution

Known only from Tioman I., off the east coast of West Malaysia (Malaya).
